LIBERTY OF THE SEAS SETS THE STAGE WITH A COLORFUL ARRAY OF THEATRICAL SHOWS Royal Caribbean’s Newest Ship Presents New World Class Entertainment Options
MIAMI – From the pulsating beats and dance rhythms to the dazzling colors of elaborate costumes, the world’s newest and largest ship, Liberty of the Seas, comes alive each evening with original entertainment to get the feet tapping of even the most reserved guests. As she makes her U.S. debut on May 4, 2007, the sister ship to Freedom of the Seas will not only show off new and enhanced programming such as the Vitality wellness program, Explorer Weddings and a cruise-industry first Teen Advisory Board, but she also will offer unparalleled and high-energy entertainment options. “Entertainment continues to be a central theme of the overall passenger experience aboard our ships,” said Peter Compton, associate vice president, Entertainment, Royal Caribbean International. “World-class performers from around the globe make up our theatrical family, and guests continue to be awed by the shows on Royal Caribbean cruises. We look forward to introducing our wonderful new performances on board Liberty of the Seas.”
Ever After – Platinum Theater “Ever After” is the second Freedom-class installment of Royal Caribbean Productions’ “Fractured Fairy Tales” trilogy. With a special twist to each enchanted fable, guests are taken on a musical journey portraying popular childhood stories including Jack and the Beanstalk, Hansel and Gretel, Snow White and Alice in Wonderland. Contemporary songs accompany each act, which takes the audience on a humorous and entertaining journey through each character’s most recent predicament, including the giant who lives in his lair near a mysterious beanstalk; a ginger bread house with a resident that eludes an eerie hint of a certain “domestic diva;” a bad apple that could be the death of a certain girl with a very fair complexion; and a naïve child with a fondness for white rabbits set in a boogie wonderland.

Somewhere In Time – Platinum Theater A chance encounter takes a young man and a mysterious beauty on an unexpected tour of faraway places - all in the pursuit of love. “Somewhere in Time” invites guests to escape into the backdrops of Austria, at the time of Mozart; to jump aboard a moving train into the adventures of the Wild, Wild West; to head into a quaint 1940s era café in Morocco; to delight in the colorful and hypnotic dancing women of Arabian Nights; and to head “Back to the USSR”, as the couple descends to earth into the heart of former communist Russia. It is here that the traveler finds himself back where he started, although somehow changed. Shows may change - above is one of many productions Royal Caribbean has to offer.
